About Heima
Founded in 2021 by Alma Dóra Ríkarðsdóttir and co-founders Sigurlaug Gudrun Johannsdottir and Tristan John Frantz, Heima is a Nordic household coordination platform built to support shared responsibility in modern families. By externalising the mental load into a visible system, the app supports diverse household structures including dual-career couples, co-parents, blended families and queer households. Heima is currently active in the Nordic countries, the Benelux region and the US.
